Metesa AS is Norway's leading independent service provider for periodic maintenance, service, and repairs of medical technical equipment, laboratory equipment, and assistive devices. Our 30 field employees are apprentices, technicians, and engineers, with extensive experience and specialized expertise in various types of medical technical equipment used in Norwegian hospitals, nursing homes, and other private and public health institutions.
With headquarters in Asker and a district office in Lillesand, we deliver approximately 40,000 assignments annually throughout Norway.

Metesa AS is Norway's leading independent service provider for maintenance, repair, and technical service of medical-technical equipment, laboratory equipment, and assistive devices.
We assist both public and private healthcare institutions across the country, from hospitals and nursing homes to clinics, in ensuring safe and efficient operations.
The company was originally established as Unitronic AS in 1988 and has since accumulated more than 30 years of experience in service and maintenance of general medical technical equipment. In 2021, Unitronic became part of a larger European community and now operates under the name Metesa AS as part of the Metesa Group.
Our team consists of over 30 professionals, including apprentices, technicians, and engineers. With extensive expertise in various equipment groups, manufacturers, and models, we stand ready to help you. Several of our technicians and engineers have specialized expertise in advanced equipment for many major international manufacturers and distributors.
With headquarters in Asker and a district office in Lillesand, we perform around 40,000 service assignments annually across Norway. We combine local presence with European strength and deliver quality, precision, and reliability in everything we do.

Metesa AS is Eco-Lighthouse certified. We are committed to ensuring that our environmental initiatives make a real difference. With core operations requiring extensive travel and involving handling of many types of packaging, we have chosen to implement an all-electric vehicle fleet and environmentally responsible waste management.

Since 2006, we have been an approved training company. We believe that the future depends on young people building knowledge and work satisfaction across various professions and fields, ensuring that we as a society have access to the products and services we need. And we believe it's good to have multiple ways to obtain education and professional qualifications.
We continuously have apprentices who all complete their trade certificates. The vast majority of them join us as employed service technicians after completing their apprenticeship.
